Vlog Update - all Presentations have been uploaded

December 7th, 2008 by brian · No Comments

We haven’t been getting the vlogs posted as quickly as I would have liked, but as soon as this batch is uploaded, everything up until the end of the day yesterday will be available in this playlist.

This is a reverse order list, with the most recent update first. When everything is wrapped up, I’ll be sure to build a full weekend playlist to archive here.

Thank you to everyone who helped us out and for providing really great content this weekend! If you have any questions or issues with the video, please let me know.

Presentations

December 7th, 2008 by Nick · No Comments

When we get together tonight for presentations here’s what you should be thinking about:

  • What the group did this weekend and a brief on the project
  • Market, pain point, differentiation
  • Demo if you have one (encouraged)
  • What’s next? Was this a weekend project, or will the group continue past tonight?

*Note - PowerPoint not required
*NOTE - Keep it brief. Approx 10 minutes, 15 at the very max

We’ll get going sometime between 5 and 6. Going to gauge based on progress. Will confirm soon.

Plans for Sunday

December 6th, 2008 by Nick · No Comments

Just a quick heads up covering some details for tomorrow.  Doors open in the morning at 10 a.m. so take that extra hour and recharge the batteries.  The day will be spent working on projects as usual and then right around 5:00 we’ll be starting the presentations.

Presentations are informal and we leave it up to each team as to what they want to present.  Ideally if you can show what you did and where you going that is great.  You might also address a pain point, market, and differentiation etc.  We also love to hear lessons learned so keep some of those in mind. PowerPoint slides optional — demos encouraged.

Feel free to ask Nick or me (Clayton) questions if you have any.

Day 2 - Meet at 9am - 2nd floor of E&T bldg

December 6th, 2008 by Lou · No Comments

We will re-convene on the 2nd floor of the E&T building directly up the stairs from where the registration table was last night.  Referring to the IUPUI parking map, park in the surface lot 71 which is right across the street from (ET) building. If you can see a flagpole in front of you as you cross Michigan Ave, then you are headed in the right direction. Map link:  http://snurl.com/78741

Enter the main floor of the E&T building - look for the Startup Weekend signs on the door and the posters directing you to the second floor where we’ll be meeting in the common area for breakfast at 9 am.
